Giving Thanks

This day for so many is all about the food. Once that gets taken away to a point you realize the real reason to be Thankful. So what are you thankful for today? Me.....

I am spending the day with my family, I still have my granma and papa to be with!!!
I am thankful for Kaiser for my WLS, my breast reduction/lift and extended Panni, helping me first live then live well!!!
I am thankful for Joe, I may not be able to be with him today, it maybe a long haul when my family finds out about him, but he has shown me love like I have never known!!!
I have a job, when so many dont. Things may still be tight for a while trying to catch up, but I know there will be a paycheck there!!!
I have a roof over my head, food on my table and people who love me!!!
OH and all the love, support and friendships I have found here!!!
The men and women in the military keeping me and this country safe!!
There is so much more, thats just some, but makes me stop and think how lucky I am!!

How wonderful that you still have your Granma and Papa.

I am spending Thanksgiving with my daughters and grandbabies.

I am thankful that my daughter and son-n-law is doing all the cooking today and my son-n-law is going to show us how to make tamales.
I am thankful for my wonderful husband that has been by my side every minute, everyday!!
I am thankful for my job also, like you said so many are with out work.
I am thankful for my health and the opportunity to have WLS and given my life back.
I am thankful for this site and all the OH friends that I have met here!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful THANKSGIVING and are able to spend it with family and friends.

I am thankful for my family. I have the greatest DH and my lil Sammi is just too much. The majority of my family is close to me and my in-laws and my family all get along wonderfully!
For WLS and the life it has allowed me to live.
For a great job and the best co-workers ever. (for the most part LOL)
For the abiltiy to live on the Central Coast even though sometimes I feel so far away from everyone
For OH and the love and support we can find here. It is unparallelled.

I could go on and on but think I better stop here. I too am so very blessed!

What you want me to write a novel???? 

Honestly I would not know where to begin to express everything that I am thankful for. I just know that I must have the luck of the Irish even though I am Italian because my life has been so rich and full. Many blessings have come my way through my life...my son's, Jeff, and now my grandchildren. I am fortunate enough to have a job where I can combine two passions...teaching and art. I am surrounded by friends too who have been supportive and love me for me....and I have my health.  I have little regret in life and I know that one day I can slide on out of this world and know that I left my mark.

Nikki...you have a great day....you are lucky you have your gramma and papa....I have no family left (complicated).....but enjoy and cherish each moment you have with them. And woohoo will the real Nikki please emerge from that binder!

My health as it is and will be after my RNY in Jan.
Those whom I love and who love me
My friends on OH who are so generous with their words of wisdom and kindness
Life in general.

I am thankful for a God who, no matter how badly I screw up, is always there to take me back.
I am thankful for our military personnel and their families, who sacrifice their time and lives so we can enjoy the freedoms that we have.
I am thankful for my family and friends, whether in real life or online, who keep me grounded.
I am thankful for Kaiser and being able to have WLS to help me live life to the fullest.
I am thankful that I have a job in these tough times, a roof over my head and food on the table.
And finally, I am thankful that I was led to this board, where I have met some fantastic people. I love you all for your love, support friendship and a$$-kickings (when needed).

I love you all and am so blessed to have you in my life, whether we have met face to face or not. Sending love and big hugs to everyone.
